Educators have long known about inequalities in internet and technology among students, disproportionately impacting Black, Hispanic, Native American, and low-income families. But now, as many school districts begin the year with at least some online learning, the students without these resources are at risk of falling farther behind. These back-to-school tech tips only scratch the surface of the support needed as millions of North American adults and kids juggle remote work, online learning, and hybrid schedules that mix in-person interaction with virtual instruction. 

Discussion ideas include if the government made Wi-Fi free for everyone, how that would impact students? Broadband could replace their cell service, thus leveling access.
