Meet the Panelists
Steven Galeazzi, President and CEO of the American Bionics Project. Steven’s groundbreaking work focuses on accelerating a new era of mobility tech that will change lives forever.
Dr. Farrukh Zia, Professor at CUNY and NYC Chapter Leader at Makers Making Changes. His work in open-source assistive devices has paved the way for practical solutions for individuals with disabilities.
Sage Cronen-Townsend, NYU student and Captain for the 2024 NYU RoboMaster team. Passionate about the development of robotics, Sage aims to make independence a reachable goal for everyone, regardless of their physical capabilities.
Angelo Catalano, a master’s student from the NYU Dynamic System Lab, is studying Mechatronic and Robotics Engineering and is interested in animal and human behavior and robotics research.
McKenna Yoshinobu, an NYU student and 3D biomedical device project member working on an advanced back brace for kyphosis for those with spinal conditions.
Tate and Jonathan, NYU Robot Design Team members currently helping design and build an extraterrestrial mining robot for NASA’s annual Lunabotics Competition.
Josephine Li, an NYU student looking to create innovations to monitor health and adapt through smart, responsive technology with smart wearable biotrackers.
